Explanation of NSI certificates
The certification system of the Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate (NSI) uses data such that the name of the country ‘NETHERLANDS’ is displayed in Dutch on certificates issued by the NSI. Because the certificate is in English, the authorities would expect the wording of the administration to also be in a corresponding language, but due to system limitations, this is not possible.
