Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training including Safety Training for Personnel Providing Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces
Masters, officers, rating qualified in accordance with chapters II, III and VII of the STCW convention and other personnel designated on the muster list to assist passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships.
No specific requirements have been set.
STCW, Regulation V/2 paragraph 7 and section A-V/2.3 en Regulation V/2 paragraph 6 and section A-V/2.2
The course consists of the following parts:
- General knowledge of safety equipment
- Assisting passengers on route to the muster station as well as with embarking and disembarking
- Muster procedures
- Communication during a crisis situation
- Practical participation
Course time schedule
From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course an official STCW certificate will be issued and a signed entry will be made in the Seaman’s book.
Prices are per person and include all training materials and certificates. Refreshments are included and in the case of a full day’s training lunch will be provided. All prices are exclusive of VAT (21%). For groups of 10 participants or more we can offer a discount. The minimum number of participants per training is five and the maximum is 24.
