Mandatory for

All seafarers who are not directly assigned with security duties on board ISPS ships.

System requirements

PC with stable internet connection. A phone with camera for ID check.

ID-Check

• After finishing the assessment you are required to do an electronic ID check using your mobile phone
• This ID check is required by the Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate
• The ID check is carried out by a third party in the EU and is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant
• Only after ID approval we will issue your certificate within 3 working days

Assessment

Once you have completed the online training modules you will be able to take the assessment. The assessment consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. The pass grade is 70 percent. Students who do not pass can review the course content and retake the assessment up to a maximum of 2 times.

Duration

The approximate duration of the course is between three and four hours.

Certificate

To receive a certificate the following steps should be completed:

• Create an account or log in
• Select and purchase the correct training
• Read the content of the training
• Take the online assessment with 20 multiple-choice questions
• Do the ID-Check (directly after the assessment or from your personal page)
• Only after ID approval we will issue your certificate within 3 working days
