Crisis Management and Human Behaviour refresher course<\/strong> online<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Crisis Management and Human Behaviour refresher course can be followed online in Rood Boven Groen\u2019s e-learning environment. This refresher course is for masters, officers, ratings and other personnel requiring training as according to the STCW V \/ 2, section 7 to 9. Seafarers must undergo appropriate refresher training within five years. Alternatively, they must be able to demonstrate that they have maintained the required level of competence within the last five years.<\/p>\n

Depending on the ship’s flag, this can also be demonstrated by relevant sailing time (1 year in the 5 years) instead of taking the Crisis Management & Human Behaviour refresher course. The refresher certificate is only valid in combination with the original certificate from the initial training course. The initial Crisis Management & Human Behaviour certificate can be obtained from Rood Boven Groen by participating in an Online Training<\/a> or a Classroom training<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Crew members of passenger ships and RoRo ships sailing at sea may find themselves in crisis situations such as a disaster or accident. Not only the crew will be under pressure, but also the passengers. It is of great importance that the crew knows how to act. After completing the Crisis Management & Human Behaviour course, the crew member will have gained knowledge and skills on how to act effectively on board passenger ships and Ro-Ro ships at sea in case of emergencies.<\/p>\n

Topics include which emergency procedures to follow, how to use available resources, leadership and dealing with stressful situations. The training uses various practical examples so that the seafarer can prepare himself as well as possible.<\/p>\n
