The campaign will investigate specific fire hazard areas related to fire safety in combination with the regular Port State Control inspection.<\/p>\n<p>Port State Control Officers will use a pre-defined questionnaire to assess that firefighting systems and equipment meet the relevant requirements, that the master and crew members are familiar with fire safety practices, and whether the equipment is properly maintained and functioning.<\/p>\n<p>The Press Release and questionnaire can be <a href=\"https:\/\/parismou.org\/system\/files\/2023-08\/Paris%20MoU%20-%20Press%20Release%20Concentrated%20Inspection%20Campaign%20on%20Fire%20Safety%202023%20%28including%20questionnaire%29.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">downloaded here.<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=&#8221;custom&#8221;
