Currently, the Ministry of Infrastructuur &amp; Waterstaat is still working on the online-consultation of the Regeling Bemanning Zeeschepen\u2019. The revised law will be called the &#8216;Wet Bemanning Zeeschepen&#8217;.<br \/>\nThe new Seafarers Act offers:<br \/>\n\u2022 room for innovations in maritime education;<br \/>\n\u2022 reduced administrative burdens;<br \/>\n\u2022 stimulation of the competitive position of Dutch shipping.<\/p>\n<p>The publication date of the law is not yet known. The aim is January 2025.
