between 400 and 5000 GT and &#8216;offshore ships&#8217; of 400 GT and more.<br \/>\nThe adopted Regulation (to be published by the end of 2024) amends the <a title=\"https:\/\/roodbovengroen.us20.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=29dfb03f735df2b085bb1c258&amp;id=4bfd530375&amp;e=771d94700d\" href=\"https:\/\/roodbovengroen.us20.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=29dfb03f735df2b085bb1c258&amp;id=4bfd530375&amp;e=771d94700d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU MRV Regulation 2015\/757<\/a> stating that the following ships designed or certified to perform service activities offshore or at offshore installations should be considered offshore ships:<br \/>\n(a) anchor handling tug supply vessel;<br \/>\n(b) offshore supply ship;<br \/>\n(c) crew\/supply vessel;<br \/>\n(d) pipe carrier;<br \/>\n(e) platform supply ship;<br \/>\n(f) drilling ship;<br \/>\n(g) floating production storage and offloading (FPSO), oil;<br \/>\n(h) gas processing vessel;<br \/>\n(i) floating storage and offloading (FSO), gas;<br \/>\n(j) FSO, oil;<br \/>\n(k) accommodation ship;<br \/>\n(l) diving support vessel;<br \/>\n(m) offshore construction vessel;<br \/>\n(n) offshore support vessel;<br \/>\n(o) pipe burying vessel;<br \/>\n(p) pipe layer;<br \/>\n(q) pipe layer crane vessel;<br \/>\n(r) production testing vessel;<br \/>\n(s) standby safety vessel;<br \/>\n(t) trenching support vessel;<br \/>\n(u) well stimulation vessel;<br \/>\n(v) cable layer;<br \/>\n(w) cable repair ship;<br \/>\n(x) mining vessel;<br \/>\n(y) wind turbine installation vessel;<br \/>\n(z) commissioning service operation vessel;<br \/>\n(aa) service operation vessel;<br \/>\n(ab) work\/repair vessel;<br \/>\n(ac) research survey vessel;<br \/>\n(ad) dredger;<br \/>\n(ae) hopper dredger.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel&#8217;s regulatory certifications including class notations must be taken into account to determine whether the vessel falls within the definition of an offshore vessel or not.
