Mandatory registration of your name in the Dutch Seaman’s book

We would like to inform you that from now on Kiwa will only accept the sailing time noted in the Dutch Seaman’s book if your name is written at the right top of the pages on which your service on board is recorded, at ‘Naam houder / Name of bearer’. If this is not the case, the applicant will receive a ‘rejection intended’ from Kiwa. After you have written down your name you can submit it again. To avoid delays in the application, we advise you to immediately enter the name in the indicated place in the Seaman’s book.
